Grave 322

In grave 322 are buried the family of a Croatian dignitary (man, wife and child). All three are buried in a wooden coffin facing east-west. Eight metal nails were found which held the coffin together. The deceased were lying in a stretched out position. Documentation of the grave includes 38 different objects. There was a rich and numerous collection of the equipment of a cavalry warrior: a sword, a spear, spurs, daggers (13), pieces of jewellery (2), everyday objects, ceramic vessels (2) and glass objects (2)....
