(from 7th to the end of the 11th centuries)

The Dalmatian area already by the end of the 6th century was caught up in a wave of conquering migration movements and immigrations of people. Slavic settlement during the 7th and 8th centuries brought about great ethnic changes. Aenona continued in its late-antic life in the 1st of the medieval period and coexisted with the newly arrived population.
